For deeper dives the Deep Stop option adds additional protection on top of the Deep Stop RGBM algorithm that features continuous depression for optimal descent time. This electronic 3D compass has a simplified four-button operation that couldn' t be any easier to use. It also has a clear, easy to read matrix display that is specially designed so that you can tilt the compass up to 45 degrees in any direction and still see it. The Cobra 3 by Suunto has two gas-switching nitrox, air and gauge modes. There' s also a built-in simulator so you can test potential dives before actually taking the plunge into the water. The Cobra 3 provides audible and visual alarms for depth and pressure. It warns you when you' re running low on air so you don' t have to continually check and can enjoy your dive. It monitors and displays pressure and tracks your rate of air consumption while continually calculating your remaining air time. There' s a maximum depth alarm, altitude adjustment and automatic safety stop countdown. Other useful features on the Cobra 3 include lifetime history memory, calendar clock, alarm clock and user replaceable battery. Depth display range is up to 150 metres.
