The Nitek Plus may not look like anything fancy at first glance, but it' s an incredibly user-friendly dive computer and wristwatch in one small and highly sophisticated package. It' s the ideal dive watch and travel computer because it' s so compact. It' s very difficult to loose when you' re traveling abroad because it fits so comfortably on your wrist! The Nitek Plus has a nitrox computer that automatically turns on when you descend into the water and it monitors two different gases. The first mix is programmable for Nitrox mixes ranging from 21-50 percent and Mix 2 is programmable for Nitrox mixtures ranging from 21-99 percent. When you' re underwater, you can easily switch between the two mixes with the push of a button. When you surface, the Nitek Plus will maintain the gas mixture until midnight and then automatically clears. It must be reset the next day or the next time you dive. The Nitek Plus can calculate decompression stop times for required stops as deep as 90 feet using a modified Buhlmann ZH-L16 algorithm. The intuitive menus of the dive computer/wrist watch makes it easy to use without complex instructions. Great for the diver looking for something practical, lightweight and compact while still providing all the crucial functions necessary for a safe dive.
